(Summary and Character Analysis)

        This book was really catching and I got hooked to it instantly. Just thinking that this whole book took place through 24 hour period is incredible how the author went so deep into detail and have so many pages in the book. The characters interact quickly and even though they start having feelings for each other really quickly in the book it felt like it progressed slowly the way the author organized it and that was great. The author does go deep into Hadley’s feelings in the book about her problems with dealing with her parents separation and how her father is getting remarried. Basically, Hadley met Oliver because she missed her flight from New York to London where her father’s new life was at and he was set to be married there. Hadley and Oliver’s conversation flowed easily with no awkwardness. This book was very nicely written and very hooking I enjoyed every bit of it and how the author was so descriptive to make it seem like this wasn't just in a 24 hour period.
        While reading the book I realized the character Hadley's traits. The traits the author gave Hadley was how she was determined in her own reasoning and very persistent. Other traits Hadley's character carried was how she was not shy, and doesn't hold back her thoughts. Hadley's thoughts may have been biased but through out the book when she things more clearly she matures, and changes her thoughts on her new stepmother. Even though Hadley isn't very fond of her father's fiance because her father had an affair with her before he divorced Hadley's mother.
